About Lugaia
Lugaia's strength lies in market-ready film-based products for customers use as disposable solutions in hygiene process technology. In these applications, sterile but inexpensive materials are used once and then disposed of. This eliminates the need for expensive and time-consuming equipment cleaning processes and associated costly qualification procedures. This promising technology was only introduced to the largest pharmaceutical companies about 20 years ago. Since then, market demand has increased and Lugaia AG has continued to grow. In 2009, the company employed around ten people. Since then, the team has grown to almost 45.
